When is the notion of the Kingdom of G-d mentioned for the first time in the Bible? I must confess I don't know. But I know when it was most powerfully introduced. (It must already have been there since centuries, but it appeared not in full, rather it behaved like a bunch of tributaries, that floated beneath the surface of the earth to suddenly appear as a mighty well or fountain. Perhaps some theologians or historians will be interested to detect these hidden ways.) We however will start here when it suddenly appears as a bright and mighty well, gushing out the water of life. And this mighty Kingdom of G-d is linked inseparably with one name: Yeshua ha Notzri. As this Kingdom of G-d grew and became mightier and mightier, by the devotion and work of this one, Yeshua eventually was not only declared Ha Moshiach, but also the Son of G-d.
Yet it is clearly to be seen in the reports of the Bible, that the Kingdom of G-d is not exclusively the personal affair of Yeshua ha Moshiach. Every human being is invited to take part therein. Yeshua ha Moshiach however turned out to be the only valid entrance into this Kingdom. Not as a mighty gate however you may ride or drive through in your own honour, but as a small door, only passable for a single person without any luggage and pride.
To enter into this Kingdom of G-d firstly requires your decision to do so. Not only to muse about its existence or to stroll around its borders. But to really enter it. And this along the way HE has ordained and prescribed. By humbling yourself and leaving all things behind to move through that narrow and small gate Yeshua ha Moshiach has set up and opened. Any attempt to get in there, aside from this narrow gate, will be of no success. If you should try to climb the walls they will grow higher and higher. And if you should try to dig an opening for yourself, the wall will become harder and harder. Truely and really the only possibility to enter into the Kingdom of G-d is to use this One entrance Yeshua ha Moshiach has opened up with His own life. So do not be haughty and stubborn. Be humble to use this small door. What good is it to stay outside in your own greatness, with all your possessions? And to miss the best thing you can achieve in your life? Namely to enter into and to be in HIS realm, inside of the Kingdom of G-d.
And why to be inside HIS kingdom? There are countless opportunities in this world for us and our natural lives, much much more than we can ever seize or realize. But there is only this one and only, this unique Kingdom of G-d. HIS Kingdom. Where HE is present and where HIS rules, HIS Thora is applied. And this makes it a place on earth like no other is and can be. A place you can live with HIM, like Adam and Eve did once in the Paradise, before their expulsion.
And that's neither a cheap utopia nor a blue sky thinking. HIS Kingdom, HIS nearness, HIS guidance is already here on earth. Even here inside of everyone of us. It is however invisibly deeply hidden inside of us, waiting for our discovery, so that it may come forth and grow and augment. Yet HE does not press on us to do so, there is neither force, nor compulsion, nor coercion in HIS whole Kingdom. In any part of it. This absence of any coercion has lead to a general human misconception. HIS abstinence from executing any pressure upon us is often pitifully regarded as a sign of HIS weakness or even as a prove of HIS absence or non-existence.
But the very opposite is true. It takes much more power and self-control to hold yourself back when being belittled, or ridiculed or even denied on many levels, while you provide for and uphold incessantly the whole existence of those denying you. What a G-dly restraint to keep HIMself from playing Tit for Tat on a human level, but to stay focused to see HIS Kingdom grow and augment in the lives of all the people who believe in HIM as their Father and King.
HIS Kingdom inside of us is at no time to be seized or to be developped with human means. There's no kind of physical grain or pip inside of us we could search and take, after we have found it, to make it grow and blossom. HIS Kingdom rather rests always potentially inside the G-dly void HE has established in everyone of us when creating and forming us. (The concept of this unique paramount and most im-portant G-dly void inside of every human being I have described on several occasions elsewhere. Please look there for some more details. Of course you may send me your questions too. I'll be fond to do the best I can to answer them.)
HIS Kingdom however is no longer a mere project that awaits its realization. The Good News for every human being are it already has become real. Its potentiality has become an ever actual reality. In this new reality it is since and stays true in itself.
Yet its realization inside of a human being took a long, long time. Only after years, decades, centuries and even millennia the time of waiting finally had been completed and HIS Kingdom appeared fully for the first time in the life of a human being.
This one, in whom this happened for the very first time stands out with a unique and paramount importance amidst of all HIS children, HIS believers and members of HIS people, am Jisrael. In Him this Kingdom of G-d was successfully established inside of a human earthly life. Since then it grows, ripenes, blooms and brings forth fruits of many sorts.
And even much much more than that. In This One the Kingdom of G-d already returned, after having been successfully established and elaborated, from earth to heaven, back to its origin, to the place where it had been planned and designed.
As many of you might presume who this One is in whose life all this happened, He is nobody else than our Saviour Jesus of Nazareth, Yeshua Mschicheinu.
When once starting his public working here on earth amidst of us, Yeshua stressed over and over again the Kingdom of G-d was very near. And not only very near. It had already arrived so that it could be touched. Yet not seized. It stayed somehow apart from us humans and hovered around mainly as a desire and an idea. There was a general yearning to see it come true, yet there were many imaginations how it should look like and therefore a kind of religious confusion was spread over the Roman province of Judaea. This confusion expressed itself in an ongoing religious competition between various groups and fraction which one would offer the best concept for its realization and administration.
